Dear Friend and Partners,

After speaking recently in Marysville, Washington, just north of Seattle, I received the following letter from Dale:

Hello Chuck,

The message you gave on obedience to the Holy Spirit was very compelling for me and a lot of other people! Then when you told about the Jesus Film effectiveness around the world at three dollars for a soul—as a businessman, I knew there was no greater investment than that.

Nathan, Age 7 Sign Reads: "Dollar Store... I am giving it to my church."

You also shared about a benefit garage sale in Dallas that was to help some siblings be adopted by a family—and God helped you bring in $7,203.00! This really moved my 7 year old son, Nathan. He leaned over to me in church and told me he was going to have a garage sale. He wanted to sell some of his toys so he could give the money to the JESUS Film. He could not wait.

When we got home he went up to his room and started collecting things for his sale. He then asked if I would get the lemonade stand out of the shed for him. I was so busy looking up information about Guatemala on the Internet (our church's next Jesus Film mission trip) and the mission trip you challenged us about that I ignored him.

I didn't know that he was so determined to have a garage sale right then. So, he pulled the lemonade stand down to the road by himself. He brought his toys, some pop, and licorice to his stand and started selling them.

Within one hour he had seven dollars for the JESUS Film. Then I realized that the Lord had impressed this on him. At the end of the day he had collected twenty-one dollars for the JESUS Film. I told him how important it was for him to obey the Lord and do what He asked him, even if others (like his Dad) were not that excited about he was doing.

You will also be glad to know that my 12 year old daughter, Dacia, and I will be going to Guatemala with our church in July.

Nathan's story brought tears to my eyes. What a tender heart for Jesus! He listened to the Holy Spirit and was moved into action. If we could all be like Nathan—"become like little children"—we would live very fulfilled lives.

Fourteen of us just returned from a JESUS Film mission assessment trip this month. After six showings that week, 890 people accepted Jesus, of which 269 were adults. Here are comments of some of the team members:

Mack - "Before, I saw a lot of numbers about the JESUS Film, but this week I saw faces!"

Margaret - "We have a language barrier but not a love barrier!"

Bonnie - "After seeing the JESUS Film in action this week, all the people accepting Jesus in their hearts, it connected all the pieces about this ministry."

Wayne - "Did we not spend a Heavenly week? I think most of us need a reality check every once in a while. We get to thinking that what we are doing is so important, ... so necessary for us and our family. Now it is back to our reality, but perhaps with a renewed sense of what not only is important, but what tiny part we can play in God's great plan to prepare the world for the last days."

Each team member has been called into action to be spokespersons for Jesus. I pray that you will take the time to listen to the Holy Spirit speak to you as did Nathan, his father, and all the folks on the JESUS Film mission assessment trip. The souls won to Jesus by using the JESUS Film will never be the same.

It may not be a lemonade stand, but your stand for Jesus is the most important step of action that you will ever take! Ask the Holy Spirit what type of lemonade stand He wants you to set up today.
