JESUS Film Harvest Partners

Dear Friends and Partners,

As of today, 671 partners have joined JESUS Film Harvest Partners on Facebook, a new form of social viral marketing that JFHP has entered. Some of JESUS Film Harvest Partners have chosen Facebook as a primary means of communication. As a result of our connection through Facebook, the ministry received money for five new generators for Bangladesh this month!

JESUS Film Harvest Partners received a request for five new generators for five JESUS Film teams in Bangladesh. That same week I received the following Facebook message from a 70 year old Harvest Partner:

Subject: Am glad to have you as a "Friend"!!!!!!!!

God Bless you and your family... Here's to "One more for Jesus."

I followed up with a phone call to Ruth, thanked her for her note, and shared the need in Bangladesh. Ruth responded by sending $3,500 for the five new generators needed. Thank you to Ruth for meeting the need in Bangladesh and to partners of all ages for using this social network method of communication!

But this story does not stop, there is more...

When I called to thank Ruth for the $3,500 donation, she was at her insurance agent's office. The agent overheard our phone conversation and wanted to know more. As Ruth shared the story, her agent confided that she had never made Jesus the Lord of her life and had stopped attending church. Ruth encouraged her to do both. As the insurance agent continued to work on her coverage, she was able to save Ruth six hundred more dollars.

Ruth told her she was going to send the $600 to JESUS Film Harvest Partners and because of the “ROI” (Return On Investment—for every $3 given, one person makes a decision for Christ) someday she could meet 200 people in heaven as a result of this additional savings she helped create. I sent Ruth pictures of the five generators being delivered in Bangladesh and here is her response:

Thanks for the pix. Yes, Facebook is fun! AND so is being a JESUS Film Messenger...

My insurance friend was blessed when I delivered to her a refrigerator magnet with "200 More for Jesus" message on it. She wept when I told her that she represented 200 souls that will be in heaven because of her "donation" and that her next job was to make sure that she would be there to "meet" them.

"God is so good!

Thank you for being my "reminder" that blessings are waiting for those who walk out in faith and share their resources.

Children are also impacting the Kingdom. These children raised $28.00 for JESUS Film Harvest Partners through their lemonade stand. Here’s their note:

My name is Chloe. I’m e-mailing you with a picture of our lemonade stand to raise money for the JESUS Film. Our Uncle David travels the world with the JESUS Film and we think that is awesome. We hope kids like us get to hear the story of Jesus. We are waiting for a really hot day so we can have another lemonade stand.

Our current needs are for:

• 97 JESUS Film team sponsors for $15,000 per year (5,000 decisions for Christ); and,
• 35 sets of JESUS Film equipment for $6,000 (2,000 decisions for Christ); and,
• Unlimited $1 per day partners for three years $30 per month (120 decisions for Christ per year).
