Dear Friends and Partners,

Haiti Alert--- 30+ generators are needed in Haiti by February 5th! Food and supplies are being delivered by many compassionate groups from around the globe; however, generators help bring light into the darkness as churches have become places to care for the needy. Therefore, churches need generators for electricity to provide support to the people of Haiti.

This is the message from our people who are on the ground in Haiti. Since JESUS Film uses generators to power the presentation of JESUS to thousands around the world, we have access to generators from our vendor. We need your help! The need is for at least 30+ generators in Haiti.

JESUS Film Harvest Partners has sent six full sets of equipment to Haiti prior to the earthquake. The people of Haiti tell us that extra generators are the current priority, but we'd love to be able to send them the requested 30+ generators ($750 each) and more full sets of JESUS Film Equipment ($6,000 per set). Many Haitians have lost everything in material goods and need the hope that the Gospel provides. We have a vendor on standby who can supply all the equipment needed within days if we can raise the funds.

We would also like to include the following evangelism tools as many Haitians are more receptive to the Gospel at this time:

• Evangelism Soccer Balls ($15 each),
• Proclaimers ($100 each),
• EvangeCubes ($8 each), and
• Bible Story Clothes ($20 each)
• Money for gas for the generators (could run as high as $20 per gallon, please call Melissa at 913-663-5700 x100 to donate for gas).

After 39 trips to Haiti, my heart is broken. I recall on my last trip to Haiti, I visited a family of five children whose parents had been killed in a car accident in the South part of Haiti. The children's broken arms and legs had grown back together crooked because they had no funds to go to a doctor or hospital. They were living alone in a small hut squeezed into the side of the hill between two other huts. They lost the hut and everything they had during the earthquake and now are sleeping on the dirt path which leads up to their humble flattened hut.
