God's Mighty Army

Dear Friends & Partners,

As we celebrate the birth of our King, I am thankful for a certain battalion of soldiers in His army…YOU! You who are faithful in prayer. You who are sacrificial in giving. You who are supportive of mission works but who cannot go to a foreign mission field. To all such believers, as clearly stated in 1 Samuel 30: You are the supply line to the battlefront. And the spoils of war are yours, too.
Many Christians feel guilty that they are not serving on a foreign mission field. Staying home is also a high calling in Jesus Christ. If you love the Lord and walk in his Spirit, you can be sure of your calling. As stated in 1 Corinthians 12:18, "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him."
A business person, a lawyer, a doctor, a mother who is striving to raise her children for Christ, or any person following the call of God is equally serving the one whose birthday we are celebrating as our JESUS Film team members. Each of us has a calling right where he is.
We bless our missionaries and JESUS Film team members in the harvest fields around the world. They often take great risks and hazard their lives for the sake of the Gospel. Their families need our prayers and support. We honor them.
However, believer and saint, God forbid you should be agitated in spirit because you don’t believe you are doing anything important to God’s work. Your prayers, your continued support to JESUS Film Harvest Partners, your charitable spirit, all are honoring to God.
My prayer is that you will ask the Holy Spirit to bring you into His rest, and that He will give you peace and joy, right where you are and in all that you do. That is His desire this Christmas season.
