We are happy because 150 people came to watch the JESUS Film at the church. This was the first time they saw JESUS and 40 people responded to accept the Lord. Sunday was a very encouraging day as children came to attend the Sunday school and the feeding ministry. We were able to feed 60 children as well as the adults who attended the service. After the services, we gave the families one kilo of rice, can goods, and noodles. We also distributed 19 Bibles and gospel tracks. The follow-up ministry was very effective. Five families pledged to open their house for weekly Bible study.

She Vowed to Stop All Demonic Activity - - Togo

As we prayed for the 13 year old girl, she confessed she was a witch and had been conspiring with others to make her aunt sick. The girl received Christ and vowed to stop all demoniac activity. Praise God for the change in her life.

The leaders of a church in Argentina expressed thanks to JESUS Film Harvest Partners for providing a way to touch the world and win people to Christ. A local church used the JESUS Film in a three month evangelistic outreach strategy. Permission was secured for the film to be shown in a local school, and as a result many learned about God’s love for the lost including over 700 children. God’s blessing on this opportunity allowed for the fulfillment of a dream the people had to reach out to their community.

As the JESUS Film team arrived in the area, eight rowdy people began to cause trouble. The team started the film and one of the trouble makers fired a pistol in the air; others in the group tore the screen. The people who came to watch the show began to run away. Finally, the police came and took the trouble makers to jail. To God’s glory, the team was able to show the film without further disturbances.

The JESUS Film is a wonderful tool to lead people to Jesus. In the Caribbean, the team shows the film many times in street settings. Through this work in one area, 100 people became new believers. There are also new pastors who are coming forward to shepherd the people.

The JESUS Film team was showing the film in a village when the generator quit working. The team leader began to share the word of God to the crowd sitting in the dark. Many people remained to here more about Jesus. The leader was able to invite the listeners to accept a personal relationship with the Lord.

Marcela was told by doctors she would not be able to speak for the rest of her life. On the day she heard this news, a JESUS Film team drove through her neighborhood announcing the showing of Magdalena: Released from Shame. Though she did not know details about the movie, she went to see it. Magdalenatells about the life of Jesus and his compassion and ministry to women. Following the film, Marcela prayed in faith a prayer for healing. When asked to go forward she went. She began to express herself by making gestures with her hands, since she was unable to speak. To Marcela’s surprise, her voice had returned and her first words were “Glory to God, Glory to God, Jesus healed me!”

As God lead them, the team went to an area to show the JESUS Film where there was no work occurring for the Lord. They went with curiosity, courage, and determination to begin a new work. The team faced many difficulties right up to the time they were to show the film to the people. As they were to start the film, the power went off. The team members were not hindered; they started the generator and showed the film as planned. Many were able to encounter Christ in that unreached area.

Jesus Speaks Ewe - - Togo

As the JESUS Film played, the people were amazed. The people started shouting say “Jesus is speaking Ewe!” Ewe is a local language of people in the Southern part of Togo, Africa. The crowd was moved by the experience.
