Will you pray with us this June?

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”

June - Week 1

Prayer Points

  • Pray for the JESUS Film Teams to boldly live out their faith in a way that draws people to Christ.
  • Pray for indigenous churches to be planted among many unreached people groups.
  • Pray for the capital city, Dakar, to be a source of gospel light for the whole country.

June - Week 2

Prayer Points

  • From Uruguay Team #1: “We ask that you pray for inspiration in our evangelism, specifically for creativity in sharing the gospel in our local context. Also pray for our health as the work and the travel can be often difficult.”
  • Pray for the Holy Spirit to expose religious deceptions and defeat the demonic powers behind them.
  • Pray for righteous and equipped pastors to lead the large number of new believers.

“I came to watch the JESUS film just out of curiosity, but when I saw Jesus carrying the cross despite His pain, I understood that this was not a simple story. When the nails pierced His hands, I felt in my heart that it was because of my sins. I cried silently in my seat. That evening, I understood that Jesus loves me personally. I gave my life to Him, and I am no longer the same.”

June - Week 3

Prayer Points

  • Pray for JESUS Film Teams to deal biblically with extreme poverty issues and to overcome a dependence mentality.
  • From Burkina Faso Team #7: “We ask you to pray that the Lord may accompany us, and that wherever we go, souls may be saved.”
  • Pray for wisdom and courage for the nation’s leaders, and for faith and fearless love for Christians in this land.

June - Week 4

Prayer Points

  • Pray for restoration and wholeness for those who have suffered the atrocities of war.
  • Pray for the Holy Spirit to empower believers who are committed to ministries of healing and reconciliation.
  • Sierra Leone Team #3 asks: “Pray for God’s grace and power to convict hearts as we continue to show the JESUS film and for His protection to be over our team.”
