This position will cultivate and maintain relationships with donors through personal communication as well as organizing and executing successful fundraising (banquet) events. Tasks include the maintenance of donor records through Constituent Relation Management system, communication with donors (via telephone, email, and hand-written notes), the facilitation of event site selection, contracting, participant registration and confirmation, and other pre-event planning/preparations, day-of logistics, and post-event follow-up to ensure successful fundraising events (6-8 per year).
The position is on-site in the Olathe, Kansas office on Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Travel within the US is required and will be required over some weekends for events.
The qualified candidate should possess a high proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Proven fundraising experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills are imperative. Attention to detail and accuracy required.
