December - Week 1

Prayer Points

  • Pray for a righteous and just government that seeks the good of its impoverished people.
  • Teams request prayer that the Holy Spirit continues to open doors so they can share the gospel with unreached people.
  • Pray that Christians can continue to be a blessing and a beacon of hope to those around them.

December - Week 2

Prayer Points

  • Pray that God continues to raise up righteous leaders both in the government and in the church.
  • Pray for the safety of the JESUS Film Team as they share the gospel amid widespread poverty and political unrest.
  • Illegal shipments of foreign narcotics in the country causes corruption and deepening poverty for people in all walks of life. Pray that the hope of Jesus continues to reach into this crisis.
My name is Felicia. My ex-husband scorned both me and my children and refused to support us. For many years I was very bitter and hated him. I met a pastor who told me I needed to repent. When I came to watch the JESUS film, I was praying in my heart. Then I heard Jesus speak to me in my language and called me to repentance. Now I believe Jesus died for my sins and I have assurance that His blood has cleansed me white. I thank God for my salvation and deliverance from my bitter and vengeful spirit.

Prayer Points

  • Christianity has grown tremendously in Nigeria, so much so that it has possibly the 4th highest number of evangelicals in the world! Praise God that the gospel has reached so many and pray for those who are still unreached.
  • Teams request prayer for encouragement in their ministry as they share the gospel in new areas.
  • Pray for persecuted believers to courageously represent Christ in the face of suffering and persecution.

December - Week 4

Prayer Points

  • Pray for wisdom and unity in the church as Christians work to reconstruct a nation weary from poverty, corruption, and disease.
  • Pray for God to restore this once-prosperous land and raise up qualified and willing leaders.
  • Pray that JESUS Film Teams have wisdom and strength in evangelizing around the country and sharing the gospel with those who need it most.
