đź’Ś Will you pray with us this FEBRUARY?

“Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.”
Psalm 36:5 (ESV)

February - Week 1

Prayer Points

  • Teams shared how last year “the terrorists caused panic in the area for a long time before calm returned.” Pray for God’s perfect peace and for strongholds to form against all physical and spiritual attacks in Togo.

  • Teams request prayer for travel mercies. Pray for their safety and provision of resources, including motorbikes, as they share the gospel around Togo.

  • Praise God for the dozens of prayer camps teams held last year to launch and strengthen the faith of new believers.

February - Week 2

Prayer Points

  • Praise God for this testimony from  Mexico team #69: “We met people in desperate circumstances and saw the change Jesus made in them by giving them hope. Many are being discipled for the glory of God!”

  • Teams request prayer as they face challenges across Mexico, including violence and crime in the streets, consistency discipling new believers, and post-COVID culture requiring “innovation in the way we present the message of salvation.”

  • Pray that teams remain encouraged and determined to reach the lost, despite their circumstances. They also ask for “wisdom to plan the correct strategies and direction from God to guide His people.”

I am 95 years old. I thank God for allowing me to know His gospel thanks to the brothers who shared the Word with me. They asked if I wanted to accept Christ in my heart and I said yes. My son and his wife also accepted Christ, so I feel very grateful and blessed. I never tire of thanking my Lord because, despite my age, I have health and strength to gather with other believers. My life has been transformed by God! My family and I have made the decision to join a Bible study to learn more.

February - Week 3

Prayer Points

  • Teams are working in areas of Zambia dominated by the influence of evil. Pray for people to find freedom in Christ from drunkenness, prostitution, witchcraft, theft, and other vices.

  • A radical religion is growing twice as fast as Christianity in Zambia. Pray that God would grow a spiritual fervency among believers and increase the number of JESUS Film team members, sending them out with the Good News to the poor, sick, and spiritually needy.

  • In spite of these challenges, praise God for teams reporting how “people are thirsty for the gospel.” They shared how “we have potential of planting strong churches because many are receptive to the gospel after we preach to them.”

February - Week 4

Prayer Points

  • Armed groups, organized crime, and corruption have made life very difficult for Christians in the Central African Republic. Many churches have been forced to close, and Christians’ homes and businesses have been destroyed. Pray for persecution and strife to be replaced by God’s peace and stability.

  • Nearly 60,000 remain displaced following attacks in 2017. Pray that Christians who have been in refugee camps for over six years will not lose heart.

  • The team shared, “a big challenge is finding the right people to be leaders of the Preaching Points.” Pray for God to provide many bold and steadfast people of peace to lead and grow these church plants.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the 1,1166 JESUS Film teams!
