🌏 Will you pray with us this October? 🙏

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

October - Week 1

Prayer Points

  • Persecution in Pakistan includes large-scale kidnappings of young believers who are thrust into forced marriages, violence directed at churches, and societal discrimination. Pray God raises up laborers who will persevere amidst trials for the sake of the gospel. 

  • Per capita, Pakistan is the most heroin-addicted country in the world, affecting men, women, children, and entire families. Pray for those bound to their addiction to find freedom in Christ. Pray not only for healed bodies, but for the healing of their hearts that comes with a relationship with Jesus. Praise: many Preaching Points are being planted in remote areas — where the church is not yet! Pray for teams to receive dependable transportation to help these church plants grow.

October - Week 2

Prayer Points

  • Pray that persecuted JESUS Film teams will understand who they are in Christ and be unashamed of the gospel. Pray for the light of Christ to shine brightly through them and for many, including their persecutors, to come to Him as Savior.

  • Pray that God transforms the hearts and lives of government leaders of persecuted nations. Pray that laws designed to restrict evangelism, church planting, and Christians’ freedom will not be approved.

We showed the film to several small groups. It is not easy to show movies like in the past because Christians are opposed. People treat Christians badly and demand that we should be sentenced to prison. It is not possible to show the film in public, but we still share the gospel with friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors. Prayer is greatly needed. We helped five people receive Christ and baptized two more people this month. Glory to God!

October - Week 3

Prayer Points

  • Pray for JESUS Film teams ministering to the unreached in remote and difficult-to-reach areas of northern Nepal. 

  • Pray that eyes would open to the truth and that followers of a radical religion in Nepal would run to the God who sees them and can give them hope for all eternity.

  • Praise God for the 156 Preaching Points planted in the last year! Pray for continued opportunities for biblical teaching in Nepal, and that God would protect the message of the gospel from heresy.

October - Week 4

Prayer Points

  • Pray for the courage, wisdom and protection of Christians when sharing the Good News.

  • Pray that believers might always be ready to share about Jesus, and to repay violence with love.

  • Pray for God to bring conviction and repentance to those who persecute followers of Christ. Pray for the Christian community to stand firm in their faith and be a witness for Christ even during times of great trial.
